II. Fall Meetings
A. Once a month for full membership, more frequently for officers
B. Spend the first 10-15 of the first meeting talking about what MENC actually is and what it does
C. All meetings will be at 7:00 PM on one Wednesday of each month
D. After the business meeting, there will be social activities for those who wish to participate
E. Meeting Dates

a. Spend the first 10-15 minutes talking about what MENC actually is and what it does
b. We will need to arrange for helpers with NEOEA Day on October 14th

III. Finances/Dues
A. How much is in the chapter account?
B. MENC dues are $31
C. Convention is paid for with fundraisers or by the individuals going
D. The Constitution says that dues of $10 may be levied
E. Is there any way to get money from the university? Are we registered as an official student organization?
F. If we choose someone from the chapter to go to Anaheim, MENC will give us money to help
that person go
IV. Constitution
A. We would like to revise the constitution from scratch
B. There will be a constitution committee, which will consist of the Exec Board and other members who wish to participate
V. Community Service
A. Meals on Wheels
1. Late November/early December
2. Deliver meals in a retirement community while caroling
B. Holiday season performances
1. Retirement/nursing homes
2. Within OCMEA, get together a quartet, trio, etc.
3. Current OCMEA members can bring in non-members in their already established chamber groups
4. Solo performances (we all have jury pieces!)
C. Secondary instrument concert
D. Silent Hallelujah Chorus
E. District 6 Solo & Ensemble Contest
1. Volunteer as judges’ assistants
2. Have a booth about Kent State
3. Maybe music ed majors could get observation hours!
