OPEN HOUSE
*Food. Refer to the minutes from September 11th’s meeting to see what each officer should bring. Some changes – Christian will bring chips and Eric will bring dip and also help Cara with the pop. Cara will bring Coke, Diet Coke, Dr. Pepper, and Sprite. Eric will bring Mountain Dew. We are also encouraging other people attending to bring food if they are able to!
*Bring laptops so that people will be able to sign up online. John’s laptop will also be playing music, and he has speakers. John will bring napkins and Cara will bring Purell.
*Structure. It will be more of a mingle, get information, “meet and greet” type thing. Because the open house is over such a large period of time, people will be coming and going and it would be too hard to have planned activities.
*Games – Twister!
*Setup 1:45 Wednesday
*Cara will get nametags

*Cara will make posters for each meeting as it comes closer
*Christian will get five poster boards – three for the open house, and two for other advertising – upcoming events and a thermometer to keep track of how many of the 104 music ed majors have joined OCMEA. If we get to 100, Dr. Ayling will have a party at his house!
*Christian will email the people who we know are interested in joining
